For the Container Depot construction, a strengthened reinforcement cage is implemented. This frame, as it was being built, was also checked and controlled with stepped up requirements. The frame will subsequently serve as an anchor for our string system tensioned with a force of up to 2000 tons.

Construction work has been going on since August 2021, when the raft and substructure walls were laid. Work on the superstructure have been carried out since March 2022.

Container Depot, combined with that anchor support, is a two-story building 15 meters high, with plan dimensions of 30.5×11.5 metres. The building’s total area 524 sq. m, building footprint is at 380 sq. m. Building structure is monolithic reinforced concrete walls and floors. The wall thickness is 300 and 400 mm, the floors are designed to be 400 and 600 mm thick, the structures are made of concrete classes C40/20 and C40/10. Concrete volume of the building superstructure is 850 cu m.

Container Depot is an integral part of a high-performance cargo-passenger infrastructure complex with capacity to transport up to 50,000 passengers per hour and up to 100 million tons of cargo per year.
