The delegation from Frauscher Sensor Technology paid a visit to uSky Transport, which gave them a tour of uSky Test & Certification Centre. The delegates were represented by the senior executives of the Group from different global locations.
Frauscher Sensor Technology is a leading company in the railway sector with projects in over 140 countries on all continents. Frauscher has been forging new and innovative paths in the global railway industry.
The visitors were shown the linear city model, and delivered a presentation of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology demonstrating the high potential of overpass transportation:
enhanced safety of high-speed transportation due to rolling stocks traveling high above the ground resultingly excluding the risk of colliding with other objects moving on the ground;
minimal land uptaken by string rail overpasses, which can be easily adapted to perform any logistic tasks at speeds up to 500–600 km/h;
more favorable construction and operating costs compared to other types of overpass transport (monorail, magnetic levitation train, surface subway, high-speed tram, cable car) and the underground metro.
The guests were shown uSky rail, the constructive and technological invention of Dr. Anatoli Unitsky and the core of the string rail track structure, and told about its advantageous features: uSky rail combines the characteristics of a flexible strand with those of a rigid beam, while steel wheel turning in contact with a steel rail crucially reduces the amount of rolling friction thus ensuring minimal energy consumption in motion.
In the demonstration pavilion, the guests were shown a high-speed uFlash, which is capable to develop speed up to 500 kilometers per hour on intercity and international routes.
Attending the control room with an in-house developed world-class coherent infrastructure of software and hardware that is optimally coordinated and serves for robust and powerful operations of full-electric vehicles uPods, the visitors became personally certain that innovative uSky transport is safe and reliable, including the certified tropical uCar, which they took a ride in.
Inspired by the test ride, the guests remained thankful to uSky Transport representatives for the exciting tour of uSky Test & Certification Centre, having expressed their interest in building strong cooperation in the future.
