Design features of the tropical uCar for urban passenger transport

[19.07.2021] The scientific paper of uSky General Designer Anatoli Unitsky entitled “Design features of the tropical uCar for urban passenger transportation” was published in the scientific magazine “Innovative Transport”. The paper describes the arrangement of the main details of the uCar and shows its advantages.

“The overall dimensions of uCar are shown in Fig. 2, its technical characteristics – in table. Currently, a tropical uCar of a VIP design is being tested and prepared for certification at the uSky Test & Certification Centre (Sharjah, UAE).”

Technical characteristics of uCar


“The required level of functional safety is ensured by using a hardware and software complex built according to the SIL standards and including unique uSky solutions in terms of emergency prevention systems.”

“The traction module is designed to ensure the movement of the uCar with the ability to change the speed, direction, acceleration and stopping of the vehicle. The traction module shown in Fig. 4, consists of a traction bogie 1, current collectors 2 and electrical equipment of the traction module 3.”

In the future, uCar, which is distinguished by its capacity, comfort and traffic safety, can become an ideal replacement for personal transport.
