uSky Transport marks 4 years since its establishing at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP). A lot of significant events had taken place since that time which had the greatest impact on the company. And today we are thrilled to share the brightest and most important ones.
Launch of the first test track in Sharjah
The completion of the first test track became perhaps the most crucial and prominent event of 2019, which heralded the active process of confident development of uSky Transport in the United Arab Emirates.
On this occasion, uSky Test & Certification Centre was toured by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
With a foresight peculiar to any great man, His Highness highly regarded those prospects to be disembosomed to the Emirate of Sharjah with the launch of uSky Transport lines. That time, Dr. Anatoli Unitsky, uSky Founder and General Designer, assured the Ruler of Sharjah that uSky Transport would exert every effort to bring His Highness’ dreams to life.
uSky Transport presentation at World Government Summit
uSky Transport took its rightful place among many Emirati companies represented at the World Government Summit in 2019.
The World Government Summit is an annual event held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It brings together leaders in government for a global dialogue about governmental processes and policies with a focus on the issues of futurism, technology innovation, and other topics. The summit acts as a knowledge exchange hub between government officials, thought leaders, policymakers, and private sector leaders and as an analysis platform for future trends, issues, and opportunities facing humanity.
During the event, the uSky Transport stand was visited by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan ibn Mohammed ibn Rashid Al Maktoum.
Thanks to participation in the summit, uSky Transport was short-listed as a potential partner of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). RTA endeavours to improve the public transport facilities and develop roads across Dubai to make travel safer and smoother.
uSky Transport was proud to be involved in the latest infrastructure project in Dubai being one of the first companies to offer aerial transport solutions to the city.
Certification of uSky Transport Solutions
TÜV SW Standardization Certifications has issued a Certificate of Conformity in support of the safety of uSky innovative transport infrastructure solutions.
The strategic objective of uSky Transport established in the UAE is ensuring maximum safety in the transportation of passengers and cargo while fulfilling future transport and logistics tasks around the world. Obtaining the TÜV SW Certificate of Conformity once again confirms the safety of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology.
This became a landmark event for uSky Transport and the world as a whole, since the practical implementation of uSky technologies would enable countries, regions, and individual companies to increase transport and logistics efficiency and safety as well as to improve the economy and ecology.
First uSky test track got the green light for operation
The first test track 400 m long got the official go-ahead from the Sharjah authority to function for demonstration and test operation purposes. This permission has been issued based on the Certificate of Conformity obtained from TÜV SW Standardization Certifications. Thus, another milestone was achieved towards the commercial operation of uSky transport in Sharjah and putting the wishes of its Ruler, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, into practice.
uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology at Expo 2020 Dubai
One of the quintessential events in the life of uSky Transport was the participation in the international exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai, which demonstrated the technological achievements of countries and peoples, which was held on a grand scale in Dubai in 2021.
uSky Transport presented at Expo 2020 an innovative achievement of humanity — absolutely environmentally friendly innovative transport that could replace traditional transport solutions threatening people and the environment.
Thanks to its participation, uSky Transport attracted the attention of a large number of people from around the world. Having learned about uSky Transport at Expo 2020, the guests of the exhibition visited the demonstration pavilion at the uSky Test & Certification Centre in Sharjah, UAE.
RTA presented uSky Transport at InnoTrans Berlin 2022
The delegation from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) attended the International Trade Convention and Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans 2022) in Berlin, Germany on 20–23 September 2022.
The RTA booth featured key public transport projects and initiatives. Exhibits included the design of RTA's rail assets as well as initiatives regarding the future of mobility.
The exhibition visitors discovered the uSky Transport project, which represented the next generation of suspended overpass transportation, which aroused the genuine interest of many people.
Analyzing the past 4 years, we can say with confidence that for the further successful development and implementation of commercial projects around the world, uSky Transport has all the requisite resources and capabilities, and, following its mission, the company is moving towards its goals with firm steps!
