uSky Transport now certified to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 for Research and Development of Innovative Suspended Transporting System demonstrates its commitment to continuous improvement, reduced environmental impact, and occupational health and safety of workers and others who can be affected by its activities.
The certification body TÜV SW Standardization Certifications has confirmed as a result of the audit, assessment and certification decision, that uSky Transport operates its management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Of particular value is the fact that this event has continued the records of antecedent certification to ISO 9001:2015, which in its turn had been preceded by the successful certification of uSky Transport Solutions.
A good deal of groundwork for achieving ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications had already been carried out by uSky operations representative as far back as early 2022, and started from the adoption of an integrated management system (IMS) that time, which came to be a strategic decision for uSky Transport that does help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
When implementing the IMS based on international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, we pursued to obtain a range of benefits to our organization and its performance, and succeeded.
And now, a systematic approach to environmental management pursuant to ISO 14001:2015 provide the company management with information to build success over the long term and create options for contributing to sustainable development by:
protecting the environment by preventing or mitigating adverse environmental impacts;
mitigating the potential adverse effect of environmental conditions on the organization;
assisting the organization in the fulfilment of compliance obligations;
enhancing environmental performance;
controlling or influencing the way the organization’s products and services are designed, manufactured, distributed, consumed and disposed by using a life cycle perspective that can prevent environmental impacts from being unintentionally shifted elsewhere within the life cycle;
achieving financial and operational benefits that can result from implementing environmentally sound alternatives that strengthen the organization’s market position;
communicating environmental information to relevant interested parties.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. The purpose of an OH&S management system is to provide a framework for managing OH&S risks and opportunities. The aim and intended outcomes of the OH&S management system are to prevent work-related injury and ill health to workers and to provide safe and healthy workplaces.
uSky Transport is thrilled to obtain the status of full-fledge certified organizations. This achievement contributes to its eventual registering as a high-level approved supplier with government entities and big companies, high reputation in the market, deployment of best international practices, enhancing competitiveness and market shares, reduction of operation cost, and assuring overall process quality.
