Peru, with unique geographical location and diverse cultural aspects, faces challenges posed by old transport system, but Peru simultaneously possesses great potential for innovative transport solutions.
Peru, seeking to modernize infrastructure and transport system, has found an engaging partner in uSky Transport. This guest’s visit was a chance to immerse in the world of breakthrough tech and innovations and to consider the possibilities of their implementation on Peruvian soil.
Our visitor got acquainted with the unique uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology, which provides fast, environmentally friendly and safe transport, turning travel between cities into a trip of just a few minutes. The guest showed high appreciation for advantages of the uSky Transport & Infrastructure Solutions and saw their potential to reduce load on legacy transport systems in Peru.
The main focus of this visit was on autonomous transport technology. The Peruvian visitor expressed interest in possibility of introducing autonomous uPods in hard-to-reach regions and cargo transportation in difficult climatic conditions.
uSky cargo transport featuring several advantages:
applicability in regions with difficult terrain that are hard to pass, water barriers, and massive buildings;
feasibility of track laying along the shortest path;
high environmental friendliness;
low costs for track structure;
full automation of loading and unloading operations, etc.
uCont is an autonomous self-propelled electric cargo vehicle designed for the movement of 20' (TEU, Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) and 40' (FEU, Forty-Foot Equivalent Units) cargo containers at speeds up to 100 km/h.
uCont is an unmanned vehicle controlled automatically and driverless. Consisting of two multidirectional virtually hitched traction modules with cargo support platforms, it is equipped with a high-voltage traction drive, an automatic fire suppression system, anti-derailment system, and control system. uCont can be applied in logistics hubs, sea and inland ports, mining sites in various climatic conditions.
Visit of this guest from Peru to uSky Test & Certification Centre left an indelible impression and opened up new perspectives for both parties. Joint effort to implement and develop uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology can make transportation in Peru more efficient and sustainable. This meeting is just the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that promises to change landscape of entire transport industry.
