At the meeting with His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Dr. Anatoli Unitsky, Founder and General Designer of uSky Transport, proposed several options for the practical implementation of uSky transport and infrastructure technology for the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
For development of tourism, a variant of line along the “Al Saqr station – Bab Al Bahr – Al Marjan Boulevard – Al Hoor Avenue – Marsa Station – Al Hamra Mall – Al Hamra Village" route with a length of 11 km was proposed. 20 uBuses will be sufficient to serve this route, each with 16-passenger capacity and an average speed of 88 kph.
The specified uSky route will help promote tourism in Ras Al Khaimah by providing visitors with a convenient, economical and reliable means of transportation. This will attract more tourists to the city, as well as boost the local economy and create new jobs.
For the economic development of Ras Al Khaimah, a route option connecting Saqr Port with Al Nakheel was proposed. This option places 11 stations on a 23 km long cargo-passenger route.
This uSky route will facilitate Ras Al Khaimah's economic advance by attracting new businesses and investment, creating jobs, and boosting the local economy.
This uSky line will simplify traveling around the city for the people, reduce traffic congestion and travel time. It will benefit both residents and visitors of Ras Al Khaimah making it a more attractive place to live and do business.
For the strategic advance of Ras Al Khaimah, a route option was proposed to connect Mina Al Arab and Wadi Naqab Hiking Starting Point via Zayed Center Station and Al Kharan Round. This double-track route will be 30 km long.
Ras Al Khaimah is an important trading hub in the region, and the new freight transport system will make it easier to transport goods within the city and to other emirates of the UAE. The result will be an increase in commercial and economic activity in the city, creation of new business opportunities and jobs.
uSky line also has the potential to reduce the city's carbon footprint by encouraging people to use public transport instead of driving private cars. This will result in reduced traffic-related emissions and improved air quality.
For the strategic development of Ras Al Khaimah, the option of connecting Saqr Port with Etihad Rail has been proposed as well. Freight uConts and passenger uBuses will run along this 84 km long passenger-and-freight route.
We are confident that building the proposed uSky transport and infrastructure complexes in Ras Al Khaimah will have positive effect on development of the entire region!
