uSky Transport presents to the public the safe uBus U4-210, uBus U4-220 and uBus Carat models for daily comfortable commute on urban and suburban routes in diverse climatic conditions.

uBus U4-210 general view

uBus is an electric rail vehicle on steel wheels designed for urban and suburban routes on string-rail overpasses with prestressed track structure based on the innovative uSky rail.

All uBus models are controlled automatically and propelled by means of an electric traction drive powered by catenary system or from an on-board power storage device. Electric motors of the traction drive are combined with the wheels into a single unit, the motor-wheel.

uBus U4-210 carries 14 persons, with uBus U4-220 passenger capacity can vary up to 100 persons or more, thanks to installation of additional transport modules (cars). Cabins of all uBus models are equipped with microclimate, lighting, audio and video information systems for passengers. The uSky Transport system with such uBuses has capacity to transport up to 50,000 passengers per hour.

uBus Carat is one more model of ours of a comfortable urban EV with passenger capacity of 16 people with an intelligent security system and an integrated multimedia system, which will soon join the uPods lineup at the uSky Test & Certification Centre and will be put into test operation on Test Track 4, and certification of that track has already begun by uSky Transport and TUV SW Standardization Certifications.
