As part of the project to electrify the track structure of Test Track 4, the engineering team at uSky Transport held a working meeting with representatives of the international certification organization TUV SW. The main topic of discussion was the initiation of rectifier certification procedures — a key component of the traction power supply system for the innovative transport complex.

The Karat Transport and Infrastructure Complex is one of uSky Transport’s advanced developments in the field of string transport systems, being implemented in uSky Test & Certification Centre. At the current stage, particular attention is being paid to the deployment of efficient and safe power supply solutions for the transport infrastructure.

During the meeting, uSky Transport specialists presented the design and technical features of the rectifier installation, intended to supply power to the traction motors of the rolling stock. The TUV SW representatives, in turn, discussed the key requirements of international standards that the system must comply with.
