Mobility Live Middle East by Terrapinn Middle East is the region’s most important mobility event, where disruptive technology and innovation drive much-needed change. Mobility Live ME brings together disruptors, their technology, and their attitude with stakeholders across all modes and disciplines: to dialogue, to create insight, and promote collaboration.
Mrs. Sowmya Yellappa, Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales Manager, and Mr. Oliver Bull, Conference Manager Mobility Live, Terrapinn Middle East, in the role of the promoters of this show to take place on 15–16 May 2023 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, have toured uSky Test & Certification Centre accompanied by Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) representatives, Mrs. Sandrine Bouic Petit, Mr. Yacoub AL Tahtamouni, Mr. Mohammed Bani Hammad.
The amazing uSky tour was in keeping with the finest traditions of uSky Centre: the guests were shown bizarre EVs – high-speed sharp-looking flagship uFlash and certified tropical uCar, other types of passenger and cargo vehicles were described in detail, a mockup of linear uCity was presented, and a video presentation demonstrating the outstanding advantages of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology was delivered.
“One such revolutionary project is uSky Transport FZE. We had the pleasure to ride in one of their autonomous state-of-the-art electric skypods on the string rails. The reality is closer than you think!”
Mrs. Sowmya Yellappa
uCont can transport cargo up to 100 million tons per year and have several advantages over the conventional cargo transportation industry:
applicability in regions with difficult terrain that are hard to pass, water barriers, and massive buildings;
feasibility of track laying along the shortest path;
high environmental friendliness;
low costs for track structure;
full automation of loading and unloading operations, etc.
The honoured guests visited the control room with a software and hardware complex. uSky control system is automated and equipped with subsystems for machine vision, positioning, routing tasks, recognizing threats, and signaling within the traffic network of vehicles exchanging data with each other.
The delegates gave recognition for the originality and innovation of the linear uCity concept being showcased at uSky Transport office.
While watching the video presentation, the attention of the guests was drawn to the prospects for implementing uSky Transport & Infrastructure Solutions due to the range of its advantages:
Development of underdeveloped and hard-to-reach territories, creation of a unified network of off-the-ground freight, passenger, and high-speed intercity tracks;
Development of related industries for the production of rail string transport overpass and rolling stock (metallurgy, chemical, petrochemical and radio-electronic industries, mechanical engineering, construction, etc.);
A qualitative change in the economic structure and growth in GDP of a country and region, the creation of new jobs in almost all sectors of the national economy;
Maximum reduction of capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) in transport infrastructure;
Improvement of urban, regional, and global ecology;
Integration of countries into international transport corridors, creation of a fundamentally new global logistics of the XXI century – highly efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe.
uSky Transport would like to thank the guests for their interest and inspiring feedbacks.
“uSky has set up their test and certification Centre at SRTIP, in Sharjah UAE. Revolutionary transport of the future: ecofriendly, safe, comfortable. uSky vehicles provide for passenger and cargo transportation in a separate space in the air above the ground surface.”
Mrs. Sandrine Bouic Petit
“Honoured to be given a tour of the uSky Transport FZE facilities and seeing first hand what the future of mobility may look like.”
