uSky Test & Certification Centre has welcomed Mr. Muhammad Tahir Lakhani, with his son, the UAE well-established entrepreneurs, who attended with a private visit.
The businessmen were shown uFlash, which’s got seating for six passengers and designed to travel at the speed of 500 km/h. With the innovative uSky rail being the core of uSky overpasses, uFlash is designed for intercity and international commuting. Originally, it has been exhibited at InnoTrans in Berlin. And now, as part of the EXPO 2020 exhibition, it is being showcased at uSky Test & Certification Centre in Sharjah, UAE.
Attending the control room with an in-house developed world-class coherent infrastructure of software and hardware that is optimally coordinated and serves for robust and powerful operations of full-electric vehicles uPods, the visitors became personally certain that innovative uSky transport is safe and reliable, including the certified tropical uCar, which they took a ride in.
Since their business is directly related to rendering cargo transportation services, the representatives showed particular interest in the cargo solutions offered by uSky.
uSky cargo complexes can transport cargo up to 100 million tons per year and have several advantages over the conventional cargo transportation industry:
applicability in regions with difficult terrain that are hard to pass, water barriers, and massive buildings;
feasibility of track laying along the shortest path;
high environmental friendliness;
energy efficiency;
low costs for track structure;
full automation of loading and unloading operations, etc.
The guests were shown the technical capabilities of uCont, an autonomous self-propelled electric cargo vehicle designed for the movement of 20' (TEU, Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) and 40' (FEU, Forty-Foot Equivalent Units) cargo containers at speeds up to 100 km/h. uCont is an unmanned vehicle controlled automatically and driverless. uCont can be applied in logistics hubs, sea and inland ports, mining sites in various climatic conditions.
At uSky Transport office, the guests from Dubai had the opportunity to see the model of a linear city.
